About the Body Cover Group

The Body Cover Group is a family-owned company founded as Elbrina Foundations BV in 1981 in The Netherlands by Gerrit van Helden Sr. “Nothing is as personal as lingerie, no woman or body is the same”. With this thought in mind he took over the existing Elbrina brand name and changed course for something new.

Today the Body Cover Group owns several brands; After Eden Lingerie, After Eden D-Cup & Up, Boobs & Bloomers, Elbrina and the newest brand MyBasic.

The running business model based on innovation and flexibility, have made The Body Cover Group one of the major players. Our approach to fashion, creativity, design and quality has allowed us to expand internationally. Our head Office is situated in Nieuwkuijk, The Netherlands and we have solid business partners throughout Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Ukraine, South Africa, Hong Kong & China. In all different countries and in our home country we achieve to work with the major mail order houses, department stores, web based companies and local retailers.

Next to our own brands in which all is to be found, we work with various costumers on private label collections, which we design in house. We have in house quality testing facilities that assure the best quality possible. We are Öko-tex, WRAP and BSCI certificated.

1981

The Van Helden family acquires the company Elbrina Foundations BV, with its only brandname Elbrina. Situated in Geldermalsen, The Netherlands.

1991

After Eden is established as a fashionable women’s lingerie brand, later it became the biggest brand of the company.

2005

The company acquires Centre Court Fashion as a company in swimwear with the brandname Nickey Nobel. Situated in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands

Purchasing the brand name Boobs & Bloomers as an existing brand name for young girls first bra collection.

2010

Grand Opening of a newly build building and in Waalwijk The Netherlands and The Body Cover Group is established as a new group name for the total company of the Van Helden family.

2015

Launch of After Eden D-Cup & Up. With a collection for larger cup sizes for the women of today The Body Cover Group enlarged its assortment and this time very literally. It is proof of the skills and active presence in the market.

2020

Moving to a new headoffice with upgraded warehouse in Nieuwkuijk, the Netherlands. Introduction of the new After Eden Recycle collection and My Basic.
